THE DISCLAIMER
Participants in Mercy Trails agrees to the following: participant voluntarily assumes all risk associated with Mercy Trails and its trails/premises including but not limited to the risk of injury/death. Participant agrees to release and hold harmless Mercy Trails and all of its affiliated organizations, managers, and directors from any and all liability and claims of any kind or nature whatsoever including property loss, damage, theft, bodily injury, and/or death resulting in any way from the participants participation in any activities or presence associated with Mercy Trails. Participant agrees not to sue or bring claims against Mercy Trails on any basis, including but not limited to negligence, per se, premises liability and breach of warranty.
THE OFFICIAL STATUS
Mercy Trails is a 501(c)3 non-profit recognized by the IRS. While Mercy Trails is run by teens for teens, it has adult advisors to ensure it maintains proper accounting, tax-exempt and legal status.
DO WE PROVIDE CHILDCARE SUPERVISION?
We are not licensed as childcare provider. Teens hiking with us must be supervised by their parents, guardians or caregivers or accept individual responsibility.
