About Mercy Trails
Our Story
We started Mercy Trails with a passion for hiking and a desire to help our local community.
Inspired by the corporal Works of Mercy, we follow Scripture in the book of Micah—
“Do Justice, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly with our God.” - Micah 6:8
The Gist
What We Do
At Mercy Trails, we meet at trailheads to prepare for an epic hike. Before we hike, we collect donations for each hike. These donations are in the form of backpacks stuffed with school supplies, new coats or food donations. After the hike, Mercy Trails brings the donations to charitable organizations around the country that distributes the donated items to the kids who need them.
